The wave of antisemitic attacks in the U.S. continues. In Ann Arbor, Michigan, a 19-year-old student was assaulted by a group of young people after revealing his Jewish heritage. He was beaten, knocked to the ground, and spat on.

The incident occurred late at night near the University of Michigan campus. The student was approached and asked about his ethnicity. Upon confirming that he was Jewish, the attackers immediately resorted to violence.

According to local police, the victim sustained minor injuries and did not require hospitalization. In a statement, authorities reaffirmed their commitment to fighting antisemitism and other hate crimes: «We strongly condemn such acts and will conduct a thorough investigation to bring those responsible to justice.»

Jonathan Greenblatt, head of the Anti-Defamation League, expressed his shock at the attack and announced a $5,000 reward for information leading to the identification of the suspects.
