According to IDF reports, among the neutralized militants were four battalion commanders and 10 company commanders.

The operations in southern Lebanon are limited, targeted raids aimed at destroying Hezbollah’s infrastructure in the border zone. The main goal is to ensure the safe return of evacuated residents to the northern regions of Israel.

IDF also reported that the amount of weapons, stockpiles, and underground tunnels in southern Lebanon exceeded expectations. Hezbollah’s infrastructure turned out to be far more extensive than previously thought.

IDF forces have been attacking access routes, blocking the movement of terrorists, and destroying vehicles attempting to enter the combat zone.

In the past 24 hours alone, paratroopers eliminated around 15 militants in close combat. Currently, southern Lebanon has been evacuated, with around 500-600 thousand Lebanese fleeing to the Sidon area and further north.

«Once we finish the attacks on the villages in southern Lebanon, they will no longer pose a threat or look the same. Most of them are already destroyed. These villages will no longer serve as a base for raids on the Galilee, and we will make sure this remains the case moving forward,» the IDF concluded.
