Due to the escalating situation in Syria, the IDF command has decided to further reinforce both air and ground forces on the Golan Heights.
Additional units are being deployed to the border region, and fortifications are being constructed.
Furthermore, the combat readiness of all IDF forces stationed on the Golan Heights has been raised.
«The IDF is closely monitoring the developments and is prepared for any scenario, whether it be attack or defense. We will not allow threats near Israel’s borders and will take action to prevent any threats to the citizens of the state,» said an official statement from the Israeli army.
