In Melbourne, students at Monash University held a moment of silence to honor the memory of six hostages who were killed during an attack by Hamas last week. Dozens of students stood in solidarity, paying their respects «out of respect for humanity,» while the majority of those present remained seated.
Following the moment of silence, some students began chanting «Free Palestine,» voicing their support for the Palestinian cause.
