U.S. President Joe Biden has sharply criticized the International Criminal Court (ICC) for issuing arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
In a statement from the White House, it was noted:
- Biden considers the ICC’s actions «outrageous.»
- The President emphasized that the U.S. «will always stand with Israel» and rejects any attempts to equate Israel’s actions with those of Hamas.
The U.S. National Security Council also expressed concern over the ICC prosecutor’s «haste» and the «procedural errors» made in this decision.
